Dhugal Mac Ardri
Dhugal Mac Ardri is a name taken from a series of books, written by Katherine Kurtz. She wrote of a mystical race of men, known as Deryni. Dhugal MacArdry, as she named him, was blood brother to the king, a duke, clan chieftan, as well as being Deryni. I adapted this name to Mac Ardri in order to be the correct form in Gaelic, or Irish. Obviously this means, in my use, Dhugal is an Irishman, The name Mac Ardri means "son of the high king." My name is James Dickey, and this is my story of Dhugal. Dhugal is the character I portray in the world of medieval foam fighting. I participate in Dagorhir, and Belegarth. As Dhugal, I am a Doltanagh or Petitioner with the Fianna Cú Ruadh, "Warband of the Red Hound." Also, I am an active member of Mittelmarch, and am the Ohtahér, or President of I Hyarmenya Arda, "The Southern Reaches."
